Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms were quite large with clean and tidy en-suite bathrooms, although one had a rather disgusting toilet seat. The well-mannered staff truly made my visit lovely, despite the minor issue with the bathroom fixture.
The hotel is conveniently located for exploring the islands, with great views and a welcoming reception staff. The rooms are comfortable, but there were issues with the cleanliness of the toilet seat. The dining options varied from excellent to mediocre.
My stay at the hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms, while approached by a long corridor with fire doors, were clean, tidy, and quite spacious with nice fittings like a jacuzzi bath. The staff were well-mannered, making my stay lovely. However, the dining experience was a bit hit or miss, with some great selections but some mediocre options. The service was exceptional, especially with Donald going out of his way to please. The location was convenient for touring the islands, although not fully ideal.
The hotel had spacious rooms with clean en-suite bathrooms, although there was a persistent smell of unwashed dog in both the jacuzzi bath and drench shower. The ground floor location seemed to offer better rooms. The dining experience was mediocre overall, with service staff not very attentive, although the scrambled eggs and North Uist salmon were exceptional. The hotel's location was convenient, situated just off the main road across Benbecula, making it a good base for touring the islands. The service staff, while accommodating to requests, lacked skill in basic tasks like pouring drinks.
